Exercises To Make Your Vertical Higher
If you seriously want to increase you vertical jumping power, there are several thing that need to be included in your training in order to have good results. The following 2 drills are a good beginning place to start your work out to add a few inches to your vertical.
Dumbbell squat jumps are a good starting workout. They are a plyometric exercise that you need to use in order to strengthen your legs, core and hip explosion muscle groups. The only things you need are dumbbells and a strong flat floor. Do not attempt this exercise if you are just starting out or not in decent shape because you can hurt yourself. For this exercise, pick out a weight between 10-35 pounds. Start with your feet at shoulder width apart, and hold the dumbbells at your side. Squat and then jump up. Do about 12 reps per set, and 3 sets in a sessions.
Another great exercise is keg tosses. This workout is from the world's strongest man program. This unique exercise will strengthen your core, upper body and hip explosion muscles. Turn the keg on its side and squat down in front of it. Grab the keg by the sides and throw it as high as you can upwards. Do Not try to catch the keg. Do this workout till you cannot do it anymore. You will feel extremely worn out after this exercise.

* ADVICE FOR HEIGHT
Good intake of calcium daily as found in various foodstuffs like tonned milk, banana, ragi, nachni, yogurt, my favourite nachos with cheese..
a best way i cud advice is to have milk shakes(chocolate, coffee flavoure) 2-3 times a day as an replacement for tea, coffee is a good alternative...
Good sleep aftr exercises helps ur bones to relax and expand.. Atlest 8hrs good sleep at night...
Remember food without exercises or exercises without food wont help you much.
Also there are genetics n familial relationships related to height.. i.e if either ur parents are short heighted or either ur brother , sister.. than there are little chances for increase in height...BUT keep a positive attitude follow the daily regimen of food n exercises.If you goin to gym regularly, i wud advice not to perform any weight lifting exercises... stritctly NO..
